Pre-Party Automatic Noise Festival 2025 at Vessel 11 - Rotterdam
Resplandor + Thrilled + DJ Dragnet
On Thursday 23rd January, the official pre-party for the Automatic Noise Festival will take place at Vessel 11, Rotterdam. Resplandor and Thrilled will perform with extended sets, alongside DJ Dragnet spinning killer shoegaze and post-punk tunes all night long.
A night full of walls of sound, distortion, ethereal vocals and beautiful noise, powered by Automatic Music, which thus begins the celebrations for its 20th anniversary.
Automatic Music is a record label and concert promoter based in the Netherlands. Automatic Music has presented in the past concerts by several shoegaze, post-punk and post-rock artists such as The Jesus & Mary Chain, The Mission UK, The House Of Love, The Radio Dept., Men Without Hats, The Ocean Blue, Airiel, Lovesliescrushing, Ulrich Schnauss, Asobi Seksu, among others, bringing since 2019 the Automatic Noise Festival, showing the most exciting of the new generation of shoegaze bands and relate generes from all over the world.

Resplandor (NL)
Netherlands-based Resplandor released their latest album Tristeza, produced and mixed by Robin Guthrie, founder and songwriter of the legendary Cocteau Twins, who also produced and mixed their previous album Pleamar, both albums have been mastered by Simon Scott of Slowdive.
Resplandor performed their latest album Tristeza being the opening act for The Cure in 2023 as part of The Cure's 'Shows Of A Lost World Tour 2023'. Resplandor has also played at festivals such as Grauzone Festival (The Hague, NL), Automatic Noise Festival (Amsterdam, NL), SXSW (Austin, USA), Culture Collide (Los Angeles, USA), Half Die Festival (Rome, IT), Veltrac Music Festival (Lima, PE) among others. The band will embark on a European tour during 2025.
Resplandor has been the opening act and has played with The Cure, Slowdive, The Jesus & Mary Chain, The House Of Love, The Ocean Blue, The Radio Dept. among others. They have also toured Europe, South America and North America.

Thrilled (Rotterdam, NL)
The interesting chord progressions and big dynamic shifts caused by warm fuzzes and huge drums is what 'thrilled' is all about. Starting out at school where all of the members met, it quickly turned into something more. Taking big inspiration from shoegaze, but also grunge and punk and many more genres. The warm and fuzzy tones of 'thrilled' are sure to give you all the goosebumps you need for the day.
