“Fundamentals of Culinary” - Component One
Six Week Course with a Final Celebration Dinner

This course will include your own instructional book, all recipes, equipment and ingredients. As well as a Huckleberrys apron, a chefs knife & paring knife all for you to keep!

Course Dates: March 6,13, 20, 27 & April 4 & 6 2025
All classes will be held from 6PM - 8PM, with the exception of the April 6th class. Your final April 6th class will include a celebration dinner where you are able to invite a guest! This class will be 2PM - 6PM, including the celebration dinner.

This first 6 week course will focus on knife techniques and cuts, proper equipment and tool use, measuring, recipe conversion, safety and sanitation and basic cooking techniques (frying, roasting, baking, sautéing)! Traditional table setting and order of service will also be apart of our final class.

Certain menu items may contain gluten and there maybe gluten spores in the air during certain classes.

Get a chance to learn from Professional Certified Chef’s: Chef Michaila, Chef Jim and Chef Tony! Leave class being able to cook a full four course meal for your friends and family!

This class is open to all ages; however, students under the age of 18 must get prior approval from Chef Michaila before registering.

Classes are held in a NC NSF kitchen, long hair must be tied back, closed toe shoes are required, appropriate dress for a commercial kitchen environment. Minimal jewelry, no head phones, no air buds, no scarfs, no extremely long finger nails. All classes are very interactive,you will be sitting, standing, bending, lifting and walking.
